MENTAL HEALTH CLINICS SERVING THE MUNDARE AREA:

Vegreville has three components of service:
1.Children's Mental Health serves children ages 5-18. One therapist available in office and psychiatry once a month.
2.Adult Mental Health services adults ages 18-65. Two in-office therapists and one liaison nurse who has a satellite clinic in Mundare two Thursdays a month in the afternoon stationed out of the Mundare hospital (please call Mundare hospital for specific dates and times and / or Vegreville Mental Health). A psychiatrist is available twice a month in Vegreville.
3.Seniors Mental Health serves seniors 65 and over. Two therapists available specializing mainly in assessment and consultation regarding individuals with dementia and do outreach to Mundare, Lamont, Vegreville, and Two Hills.

Lamont Mental Health has two components of service:

-Mental health will take referrals from individuals for themselves as well as from professionals. Typically, if a referral comes from another party there is a preference to have the individual with the problem contact an office themselves.
-Both the adult and seniors service will see people in their homes if needed once that individual has first been seen in the office for an assessment.
-People from Mundare are able to request services from any clinic they chose and are not tied to one specific clinic.
